This is a good old truck. It's a 1983 Dodge Ram 150 Shortbed. It is a true southern truck. I believe it was bought new in Huntsville, Alabama. It gets pretty good gas mileage with the 6 cylinder and manual transmission.
It has the bulletproof inline 6 cylinder engine, with a dependable 4 speed transmission. It has less than 75,000 original miles on it. This is a no-frills truck. The only luxury item is a CD player with remote control. No frills means less to have to worry about breaking. It runs and drives great. It doesn't smoke at all. The valve cover leaks a little oil, but it's not bad at all; No oil spots on the driveway. The tires are like new, and it has a nice toolbox and a new Reese receiver hitch for towing. It could use paint, and the tailgate has dents in it, but it does not affect the drivability at all. The seat has a tear on the driver's side from use, but it's no big deal. It's not a museum piece; just a simple, dependable old truck.
Scottsboro is 1 hour from Huntsville Al, 1 hour from Chattanooga Tn, 2 hours from Atlanta Ga and Nashville Tn.
