| You are bidding on a RARE 1972 Dodge Charger RALLYE which was black (now yellow)with a black bench seat interior.
This car was a 340, automatic with a RAMCHARGER Hood option.
The body has had some previous work done to the rear quarters and was painted yellow (neither was done by a professional). It has a very decent body overall, very solid and straight but needs restoration. The frame is solid (except a small portion that is shown in a picture), no visible damage. All body mounts, floor braces, supports and cross members are solid. No rust in the trunk and the floor panels are solid except for some patch work that had been done to the driver’s side, and a hole that was cut into the tunnel above the trans (as shown in the pictures). The trunk lid has rust along the back edge. All the trim is with the car.
Dash is complete and stock and includes a factory tach, 150mph speedometer, and factory AM/FM radio. The dash pad does have cracks.
The original 340 motor is gone and was replaced with a running 273 with 340 heads, intake, and exhaust manifolds. A 1972 340 bare block can be purchased at additional cost to the winning bidder.. ONLY. This car was stored for a couple of years and needs a muffler on the left side, but is drivable. What you see in the pictures is what comes with the car, including new black carpeting.
The car does have the fender tags and is loaded with goodies, but no build sheet.
