| 1971 Dodge Charger, the last year for the high performance Charger....and this particular Charger is one that not only spent it's life in California, but is also an unusual, highly optioned car. Following are just some of the highlights that the winner of this auction will enjoy:383 engine (not numbers matching) 4 barrel carbshift-on-the-column 727 trans.A/C (not currently operational but all parts there)Cruise control (not currently operational but all parts there)Power Windows (all operational)Tilt steering wheelPower steeringPower BrakesHideaway headlight doors In addition, the car sports a nice Hemi orange paint, with correct striping around the perimeter, which causes a lot of whiplash around here from all the head-turning it causes! The left front fender and hood have some minor collision damage but the frame, floors, trunk floor and remainder of body are solid. The interior is complete and in good condition. It has bucket seats (unusual with a column shift car). All glass is intact and in very good condition, as is all chrome trim. The wheels are newer Centerlines with good tires. All brakes are in good condition and operate as designed. The steering is tight. It starts on the first turn of the key and runs very well. The transmission shifts fine also. A truly cool car to drive, it would be simple and inexpensive for a talented person to bring it to 100 % complete restoration while enjoying it as a daily driver. The Charger is being sold as is, with no warranty expressed or implied. It can be driven within a reasonable distance but ideally should be trailered, considering it's age.It is also for sale locally and we reserve the right to end auction early for this purpose. The engine runs great and transmission shifts great with no noise. The car has a 8 3/4 3.23 Posi rearend and Dual Exhaust. Please email me with any questions.
