| This is a rare FIAT with a factory removeable hardtop. The car is complete, and the hardtop is in excellent condition for its age. This is not a "drive away" car. Although the car is complete with very little surface rust, it is in need of a complete restoration. Everything is there except for the rear tailliight lenses, which I was never able to obtain. This was the first year the FIAT spider had a five speed transmission. I have had this car for thirteen years, buying it with the intention of restoring it. I DID tune the engine ten years ago, change the fluids and run it, so I know it is a sound engine. The car has been in storage since then. Life has gotten in the way, so someone else will have to take this baby to fruition. |
