This is a very clean car. It was painted midnight blue in 1998 and still looks great with a few minor blemishes as you can see in the photos. Front seats and door skins have been reupholstered stock white within this last year. The reupholstered driver seat will replace the "beat up" black one in the pictures upon sale.
It has a L28 block (E31) with a N42 head, and the cylinders have been bored to .030 from stock and has a mild performance camshaft. The original emission controlled carburetors have been replaced with the more desirable "round top" carbs.
The car has new fiberglass bumpers from Motorsport Auto, new door seals and hatch seals. I have installed Eibach Springs and Tokico Struts in March '08. Included with this car purchase will be original springs and new "in box" KYB struts if current setup proves to be too stiff. Power antenna, map light and engine compartment light are all in working order.
I have tried my best to take pictures of the rust. This car has very little rust. The undercarriage, spare tire compartment has no rust. The battery tray area has minimal surface rust.
This is a very reliable car and gets respectable gas mileage if driven responsibly.
I have a very reasonable "reserve" price on this car. I can no longer keep this "rocketship". Happy bidding! |
