Up for bid is a 1968 Ford Fairlane 500 GT in great condition. This car has a very strong 302 V8 with low miles that the previous owner had put in. The original miles are unknown, the mileage posted above is just what the odometer reads,it is NOT the actual mileage. I still have the original 289 that came out of it if the winning bidder desires to have that as well, a seperate arragement can be made. The car still has the original Ford sport wheels equipt with Futura GLS Super Sport tires still with about 75% tread. It has been re-painted the original color and any bad body spots cut out and replaced. There are a couple minor rust spots coming through on the hood and one place on the rear upper corner of the right side, please see photos. She is red, trimed in chrome with black and chrome interior. It's equipt with power bucket seats and the rear seat has been removed for a more sporty look. The area that was once a rear seat has been custom apolstered to match the rest of the interior. I do still have the rear seat also in good condition that comes with the car to the winning bidder. Also chrome wheel well trim, mirrors, whippers and a few others. Both front and rear bumpers are chrome, though the rear one has some surface rust, again please see photos. She has a great sounding dual exhause system. This car does run and shift great though it does have a minor transmission leak. I would suggest the car be trailered home due to the fact it has been sitting up for a little while. There is a very low reserve set on this car because i don't want to see it go to waste.
Buyer is responsible for pick up. A $500 dollar non-refundable deposit through paypal is due within 48 hours of auction end. Remaining balance after deposit is due within 7 days of auction end.
