| 1966 Ford Galaxie 500. Purchased from private owner 4 years ago. Have done extensive work to the engine and transmission. Came with a 352/FMX, now has 390/C6 from 1970 F100. Engine had double roller timing chain & gears, Crane Cam electronic ingnition conversion kit, new water pump, new alternator, starter, battery, belts. Have performance cam which we are unaware of the specs. Installed high volume oil pump, screen and tube. Chrome oil pan and valve covers. Edelbrock Performer intake. Original Ford 4bbl carb, with original tag, rebuilt when we purchased the car. Hooker Super Comp Hedders with 3' collector to 2.5 exhaust running to H-pipe with Flowmaster 40 Series mufflers, chrome tips that come out the back corners. All exhaust from engine back was new, and custom from rebuild. New tires with less than 500 miles, new brake shoes all around, two drums turned, two replaced, new wheel cylinders and seals. High flow (80gph) fuel pump on engine, will come with an extra stock fuel pump. Aftermarket AutoGuage oil, temp, amp guages mounted under dash. Interior was covered with seat covers when we purchased it, we replaced seat covers with black vinyl/polyester covers. Seats in descent condition, but you can tell the drivers spot is 42 years old. Rear seat has good original interior, but last owner had hole in top of seat cover that faded the black pretty good. Original Dearborn tagged a/c compressor/hoses/condensor are included, but not on the car. Last we knew it worked well, but never ran it ourselves. We are by no means trying to sell this vehicle in physical structure. Frame is in bad shape as far as rust is concerned. Body is pretty rusty, and is rebuildable if you want to put the time into it. Have sold armrests, Galaxie, and 500 emblums. All of which are pretty easy to find on Ebay. Headliner is coming apart one seam. Glass is all in great condition, all windows work fine. All mirrors are original and in good condition. Ran today, and rusty brake line let loose, buyer will need to flatbed or tow. You can visit YouTube and search for videos of the engine running under user JnkYrdDll. We can also add a 352/FMX combo. The 352 will need rebuilding from the bottom up, FMX is good. Additional $150. Purchaser will need to pick up within 7-10 days of purchase. |
