This T-Bird was originally a California car and is very clean and has no rust anywhere. Back in 1991 the t-bird was purchased from the person I bought it from and was shipped out to Florida were it spent the next 8 years. Upon the gentlemans retirement, he trailered it to back to Michigan where it was stored inside ever since. I purchased the car for my wife in the summer of 2000 and it has been a great vehicle ever since.
The Interior, Engine and trunk compartments have been restored to their original condition. The body is in excellent condition with no ding or dents and the exterior paint is in good condition. The car has most of the options available in 1956 including 312 CI engine, Removable Hardtop with opera windows, continental tire kit, rear tire skirts, PS, PW, PB, telescopic steering, town/country AM radio. All options and instrumentation work great with the exception of AM Radio. The Thunderbird is in great condition and has full documentation of all work performed (Maintenance, repair and restoration) since 1991. In addition we have many extra parts, some in their original ford packaging along with a nember of the original manuals for the vehicle. I had the car maintained by a retired Ford Auto mechanic that worked at the Ford Engineering facility in Dearborn, MI. |
