This is a very nice car originally form Southern Ohio/Kentucky so it is a pretty solid car with great potential. Finding these 2 doors in this good of shape is becoming very hard. I bought this from the second owner because he didn;t have time to re-do it, and I now have a newer job with a lot of travel and am in the same boat. This being said however this is a very solid car with a tear in the driver's rear quarter which can be relatively easily repaired, and a few rust bubbles on the body particularly at the bottom of the hood, and a few small ones on the bottom of the doors and fenders. There is also a hole in the rear floor about 2 inches in diameter- very repairable. The trunk is solid with a repair that was done to the spare area of the floor. The undercarriage is really solid for a 49 year old vehicle!! It also has the bulletproof 223 six cylinder which runs pretty well. The previous owner rebuilt the carb and I think the choke adjustment is off. But it does start, run, stop, steer and all of the important things.
This car would be a blast to fix back to original, or drop a screaming 351 Cleveland into it as a ratrod- your choice. Very few of these are around with this much potential. I would love t keep it, but in my heart of hearts I know I can;t do it justice, and my wife wants some of the toys out of the garage.
I do have a guy that transports, but his conditions are that the vehicle is prepaid and the majority of transport is prepaid. If interested I can call him. I think he gets about $1.20 per mile roundtrip. He is very reputable but only does a few jobs a month- can;t guarantee he'll do it for you, but would be willing to approach him.
This car is sold in an "As-Is, Where-Is condition" with no warranties implied or conveyed. It is a 49 year old vehicle.
