1973 Ford F250 Ranger XLT, Camper Special. 428 4V Carb, Automatic, 2 Wheel Drive, Manual Windows, Door Locks, Seats. This Truck was purchased by me to send to Holland as an export. I have too many projects at this time to bring this Truck up to a reconditioned status. The Truck runs great and has alot of power. Shifts through all gears fine. The previous owner had started to re-wire the Truck with a aftermarket kit from Painless Wiring. This Company makes aftermarket products for restoration projects. The Truck was originally factory A/C equipped and at some point in time someone removed the compressor and A/C condensor from in front of the radiator. The A/C hoses and plenum box are intact. As to the condition of the system that is intact I can not assume. All I know is that the hardest parts to replace are still there. Any wrecking yard or on ebay will have the compressor and brackets necessary to restore the system.
The Tires are okay. The Truck features the side tool box in the Truck bed. The truck comes with a 5th wheel hitch (not installed). Some of the electrical systems have not been finished with hooking up in the new wiring. I have the installation directions that came with the re-wire kit.
As I said, the Truck fires right up. Choke works good and the truck has alot of HP. The Camper Special editions came with overload springs in the rear for hauling a little heavier load.
The Truck is being sold as is. I will make every attempt to answer any and all questions to the best of my ability. So please ask.
The mileage stated at 132,254 is assumed as the odometer does not register to the 100,000 mark. The odometer states 32,254. I don't assume that the mileage would be this low for a Truck this age.
