diamond t pickup- model 201 with many upgrades. this truck is an original colorado truck with perfect original sheet metal. i am the second owner, i have owned it for almost twenty years.there is no rust anywhere. the cab is all origianl with all chrome and very rare grille, which was only made for two years. the bed is an all metal replica of an available option- the express bed. the front fenders are original. the back fenders are fiberglass.
the engine is a ford 300 strait six out of a ford van. it has just been totally rebuilt with new carb, dual clifford headers and dual exhaust. the engine is a perfect fit for this truck. the transmission is a C6 out of same ford van. it is a twelve volt system with all gauges original and rewired by universal gauges. all gauge faces are original and all are in excellent condition. the seat is actually the original seat as well as the steering wheel. i have the origianl heater and wipers, but neither one is hooked up.the cab itself is all original, no body work anywhere- all the chrome pieces have been rechromed.the only piece left to rechrome is the grille, which is very strait and in excellent condition. both the cab and the bed have new yelow , dupont paint . it has a plastic fuel tank under the bed. the wheels are also brand new. the suspension is original,. i have added rear shocks. the brake system has been redone with corvette dual master cylinder and proportioning system.the wheels and axles are also all original.
this year diamond t is very rare- this grille is almost impossible to find-you will never find another 1938 diamond t pickup, especially in this condition. i have original engine and transmission.the sale also comes with many spare diamond t parts- too numerous to mention.
