A couple of things I forgot to mention: I am assuming that the mileage is 151,000 - the odometer reads 51,000 The steering wheel has been replaced, but I still have the original in the trunk The rebuild was done in the early 1990's by a FORD mechanic that happens to have been the original owner of the car. At that time, the following things were done: 429 Thunderjet with 429 Cobra Jet internals (valves, pistons, lifters, crank, wiend cam ) heads machined New intake (429 CJ) New 429 CJ front suspension from PST Bushings, antisway bar, coilsprings Front & rear bumper rechromed Flow master exhaust Re-carperted Front seat re-upholstered Airshocks (adjustable) on back Valve stem at rear liscense plate Can raise/lower rear end New steering wheel, shifter Original C-6 tranny with cooler pan Original rear end New brakes I aquired the car just a few months ago and took it back to the same mechanic and had the following things done: Valve job & resurface headers 2 new valves 1 gasket set 4 new push rods 1 rebuilt distributor cap rotor 1 rebuilt starter 1 starter cable 1 ignition switch Interior & exterior clean-up

And one more thing... Following the rebuild in the early 90's, there were less than 5,000 miles put on it (so I am told). From 2000 until May 2008 (when I had it repaired) it was garage kept and never run.
