VERY RARE 1967 FORD RANCHERO 500XL 390-FOUR SPEED WITH AIR CONDITION!!
FUZZY DICE AUTO SALES Is presenting this very special and extremely rare collector car. This California born car is almost too good to be true. this is a 1967 Ford Ranchero 500 XL with a numbers matching 390 High Performance (315 HP) motor. That's just the beginning. This extremely rare vehicle was manufactured with factory air, deluxe bucket seats and power steering. She rolled through the assembly line as an automatic, but was shortly there after professionally changed over to a 4-speed transmission. Now here are some facts: There were a total of 1881 Ranchero 500 XL vehicles produced in 1967. A mere 317 were produced featuring the big block 390 motor with a C-6 automatic transmission and the center console. There were only 27 made with a 4-speed and air conditioning. And only 2 of those came with the high performance motor. A copy of the "Marti" report is added to the photo section for your inspection. This gem spent most of its life in sunny California where the original owner changed the color from Frost Silver to its correct period Ford red. The exterior is in excellent condition. There's only a practically undetectable very small blemished area on the right front quarter near the door. The older re-paint shines like new. The chrome, molding, window glass and rubber are in excellent condition. The under carriage is rust free. The quarters, floor and rear bed pans are in great condition. There's no body filler or damage anywhere. She even has the original Ford tow package that was optioned for this model Ranchero. The present owner preferred the look of a 1967 model hood, but has it's original one that comes with the vehicle. It should also be noted that this is the only model Ranchero that came from the factory with stacked headlights. Heavy duty suspension also adds to it's features. The interior is in "like new" condition. The seats, dash pad, carpeting, door panels and head liner are excellent shown no tears, rips or blemishes of any kind. All the gauges work to perfection. The original in-dash "Selectaire" factory installed AC unit works to perfection. She does however have to be charged to blow ice cold. The original AM radio was never taken out and replaced like most were. The cockpit in this vehicle is in exceptional condition. Under the hood boasts its very rare 390 High Performance numbers matching motor that runs strong and sounds nasty. Still intact is the smog pump with California emission controls.
