Exterior Highlights:
The exterior of the car is Silver with a new Black GT striping kit. The car has a $6000 imron paint job that was completed in 2007. The body has no dings, dents, scratches, rust, or flaws of any kind. The sides of the body are laser straight with absolutely no waviness which is an indication of how well this vehicle has been taken care of over the years. All chrome has been replated or is in excellent original condition. A spray in rhino liner was applied to a rust free, dent free bed. The headlight and grill area is very bright as can be seen in the pictures.
Interior Highlights:
The interior is well appointed with recently reupholstered gray vinyl factory bucket seats. The vehicle is equipped with the gauge package including temperature, oil pressure, clock (does not work), odometer, tachometer, battery amperage and fuel level indication. The vehicle has the original and working am/fm stereo. The car is equipped with left and right remote mirrors. The dash is in excellent condition with the GT badging. The carpet is grey and in excellent condition. The car has shoulder belt seatbelts. The vehicle is equipped with factory air conditioning with new compressor but system needs to be charged to be operational.
Mechanical Highlights:
Mechanically the car is powered by a 351 Windsor motor with an automatic transmission. The car runs and drives as new. The engine compartment, as can be seen in the pictures, appears to be unmolested and is very clean. The car has chrome tipped aluminized dual exhaust. The car has radial white wall tires. The frame and undercarriage are extremely solid.
This vehicle would make an excellent addition to a collection or would be an excellent and very rare cruiser. Kept in this condition this car is sure to never go down in value and has the potential to appreciate nicely over time. You will search very far to find a Ranchero in this condition anywhere.
