12 year frame off, rotisserie restoration. Professionaly done, Painted in one of only, amythist, and white, in base coat clear coat. All underside panels, fire wall, and where it is required, painted to match. Car was completely dismantled, and every part repaired, or replaced to new condition. Body is extreamly straight, with fit, and finish to match. Built way beyond what the factory produced. All new wiring (Ford harness) Speedo rebuilt, dash repainted. Drive train: rebuilt motor, new pistons etc, rebuild transmission Fordomatic. rear axle is original.
New brakes, and all brake parts including springs, retainers, cables, hydraulics etc. Converted to dual cylinder power brakes. Five brand new Coker wide whites. new hubcaps made from original factory dies. All chrome replated, and stainless polished.
Every imaginable weather strip replaced, or in box. Covertible roof completely rebuilt, with new cylinders, and hoses. All new FoMoCo script tinted glass. Reproduction script "Power Point Battery" converted to gell cell. All electrical parts rebuilt. Radio converted to digital, but works from the original knobs etc. All body mounts replaced. New shocks, and exhaust that run thru rear bumper outlets. Wheels are new except spare. Car is mostly complete except interior fabric, and convertible roof canvass. Quoted by ABC interior, for all neccessary custom color interior with black "stay fast" roof at $3500. Car should cost under $5000 total to sub contract out for completion.
Kelly Blue book Value listed at $80,000 in lesser condition than this car. Vehicle has 1/2 mile on restoration. I have come to a standstill, and would like to sell. Never been offered before. This is a stunning, one of a kind Sunliner. These cars are extreemly rare, and expensive to build. I've done all the hard stuff, so finish it up, and enjoy!
