You are viewing my 1974 F-250 Ranger XLT Camper Special. I have owned it for 3 years, it was from Texas. This F-250 has a very strong running 390 engine with auto trans. that shifts good. It drives and rides nice, it would make an excellent restoration candidate. The Ranger is in very good condition for its age, interior is very nice all around, dash pad has NO cracks, seat has NO rips or cracks. The paint, while pretty good, seems to be original and has several chips and very few scratches. It has a good set of Kelly radials on nice American Racing rims, rims need cleaning. The box in good condition but has some very small rust holes that have been treated, it retains all original paint, tailgate works fine. All lights work, even the work light under the hood. The problems are as follows, the dual tank switch is stuck on front tank, and speedometer does not work, it did when I got it , miles are pretty close because I haven't put on more than a few hundred miles since it stopped working. It has one small rust hole in the passengers front fender (see pics) and some light surface rust behind the passengers door drip rail. It has a few (4-5) small hail dents in the hood, they should be easy to repair, passenger side mirror is cracked.Other than these things it is a very solid, straight and great running 70's vintage F-250 Ranger. An easy restoration or drive as is. It also comes with the very nice, perfect fitting fiberglass topper and the shocks on the door work great. Pictures tell all, its a Great Ranger. New Very very low reserve of $2200 so lets have some fun and gitrdone. Truck definetly sells to high bidder. Make sure you have funds to complete sale.
