Up for auction here is a 1979 Ford F-250 4x4 Custom! If you are looking for a '79 in excellent condition that drives great and looks great, look no further. This truck is equipped with a 351-Windsor with a 4-speed manual transmission. This custom built engine is nearly brand new and has less than 1000 miles on it. It was built with hardened internals, i.e.-rings, valves, etc... and high compression-10.5:1. The engine is set up to run on either propane gas or regular pump gas and runs very well on either just by the flip of a switch in the cab; you can see the propane setup in the pictures. The dual exhaust system is brand new and was put on with the new engine and sounds excellent and strong. The engine is fitted with a Holley off-road carb, it has a new radiator, the tires are 50% tread or better, the clutch was redone when the new engine was put in, and the brakes were completely redone less than a year ago. A custom tach has been installed on the steering column to help monitor rpm levels and a classic Ford stereo has been installed to complete the dash. This truck has less than 50,000 original miles and is in excellent shape. One of the nicest 79 Customs existing today! Everything works and you will not be disappointed.
