Thanks for looking at my auction. Please read all description before bidding. This is a 20th anniversary Ford Mustang with a clean CARFAX Report which I can e-mail or fax at any time. I am the third owner of this baby and it has been pampered since 2002 when I purchased it. Please feel free to ask any questions.
INTERIOR
The interior is all original. The back and passenger seats are in "like new" condition. They still had the Dealer's plastic on them when I bought it. The only problem is the driver's seat. It has a small tear on the vinyl seam. It might be fixable since is very small. The previous owner cut both door pannels to place after market Pioneer Speakers. This doesn't look bad but he damaged the originality of the car. The dash board is cracked and needs to be replaced. The original carpet is in excellent condition. It has a Pioneer cd player and speakers but I do have the original stereo.A/C is also working !
EXTERIOR
Car is 100% rust free. It needs a paint job since has not been garage kept by previous owner or by me. I don't have garage space for all my cars. It was covered most of the time but original paint is too old now. Tires and wheels are new. All four tires are 255/40/17 with 8" wide wheels at front and 9" wide rear wheels. I was planning to paint it and install a grill with gauges between the hood and the windshield. The grill (no gauges) is included in this auction.
ENGINE
This is where the fun starts. I've invested over $8,000.00 on this baby's engine, differential and clutch. Please keep on reading ! I'm not planning to get all this money out of the car. I know you never do ! All modifications were made by a professional and he will help me answear all the questions you may have since I'm not good with most of these terms. Also note that all modifications were made to give more power and better performance to this 24 year old car while keeping it street driveable This car can be a fun powerful daily driver.
Engine has : stroked crankshaft (.010-.010) with forged pistons (.030). It has a 272hp camshaft with hiperformance valve springs and retainers to match camshaft. It also has a double roller timing chain, clevite bearings, high volume oil pump, aluminum performance intake, 500 cfm edelbrock carburator with electronic choke, msd 6al ignition module, aluminum water pump, 3 row aluminum radiator, hiperformance clutch and 3.73 gears. It has msd coil and msd plug wires. It has a hurst short throw shifter and shifter knob. I also installed an x-pipe, headers, flowmasters, edelbrock valve covers and edelbrock air filter cover.
I'm sure that I left many things out. Please send your questions and I will be happy to answear them. All work on this car was done last year and hasn't been driven much since then. You are welcome to see the car and test drive it. Reserve is way below what I invested in the engine or way below what the car's value is without a hi-performance engine. You can't go wrong with this one! I want the buyer to be happy ! I've described the car as best as I can. Please look at my 100% positive feedback and bid with confidence. I sold my 1968 Z-28 on e-bay last year and purchased my 2001 corvette on e-bay also; leaving buyer and seller very happy.
