This is a fabulous muscle car! From the VIN, you’ll see it started out as an automatic, 429-4V Thunderjet. In November 2002, the car was professionally changed over to a 429 CJ, with a Ford 4 speed Toploader manual transmission. The paint scheme was changed from medium blue metallic to the sharp silver coat you see now. A Classic Auto Air was added, as well as 3” Jet-Hot coated dual exhaust.
I bought the car in Oct 05 and found the only thing it needed was a new flywheel. The original one had worn ring gear teeth. I purchased and installed a new one and also put in a new Centerforce clutch while I was in there.
It sleeps in a garage, but loves to come out and play. Very reliable machine and I know you’ll have fun with it. Reason for selling: We just bought a ski boat and truck, can't have everything!
