History:
The truck was used in a peach orchard west of Portland Oregon for 40 plus years. The restoration began in November 2005.
Restoration Process:
The truck received a small block and automatic in 2006. The plan was to build a modern truck, leaving the outside as close to stock as possible.
The current owner did as much of the work as he could himself, but the sand blasting, powder coating, upholstery, exterior paint and final body work was professionally done. Almost all parts on this truck were replaced if available. The running boards were replaced. and are now painted black with cinnamon in the clear coat, and matches the paint on the "GMC" logo on the tail gate.
