Reserve lowered Up here is my 1941 International toter truck specs are as follows...1995 Cummins 6BT 12 valve intercooled diesel engine, 47RH Dodge automatic 3 speed overdrive trans, Dana 70 3:54 rear end, Chassis is that of an 1988 Chevy 1 ton dually, Has power steering,  Has hydroboost power brakes,  The bed is a JMI mfg out of OK. I purchased the truck from the original builder with a 454 big block gasser I then went to work converting it over to diesel. The only negative thing is he mounted the body and bed straight to the frame but with that said everything is Straight, Even and True and rides really good for a 1 ton.  The frame was shortened and butt welded and is holding up fine no problems in the 2 years I've driven it (Canadian bidders check on welded frames before bidding).  The body is very solid but does have its share of dings, ripples and grind marks which to me adds to the character!  there are a few places that look like filler but for small dents only.  It doesn't look as if the body was ever rusted.  It would be an easy one to finish off nice but would take away from the "patina" look (in my opinion).  The frame is also very clean as the body and chassis came from southern MO. Next is the tranny to keep things simple instead of the factory computer I installed dimmer switches on the floor to control the lockup converter and overdrive function so by operating these myself I'm able to attain approx 21 mpg and at the same time have better performance. The motor is out of an F700 with 77,000 original miles at time of install that came from NC so its very clean.  Tranny has about 30,000 on overhaul with upgraded clutches and new heavy duty converter, new B&D Performance billet flexplate, has trans cooler with elec fan.  New 4" heavy wall driveshaft, New u-joints, New brakes drums and rotors, New ball joints, front springs and steering linkages, new aluminum radiator w/elec fan, Rear end has new ring & pinion and bearings,  new fuel lift pump, new alternator, new starter, new water pump, new Stewart Warner manual oil pres & water temp gauges, new Autometer pyrometer & boost gauges, trans temp gauge, new exhaust is all chrome from the turbo back 4"dia Grand Rock stacks are 7' 7" tall.  I have the side panels for the hood (I think it looks cool'r w/out e'm) they are in great cond the letters could stand rechroming though. I completly rewired the entire truck keeping it very simple using Buss breakers and common junction blocks (see pic). No a/c but very well insulated stays very cool for a black truck.  Has a very good heater.  Now for the bad, will need rear tires soon, I believe the wiper works but its not hooked up been using rain-x. windshields are new but needs resealed (was poorly done by the other guy) has leak on driverside, side glass is new but needs new guides inexpensive but I haven't gotten to it.  The other guy welded the fenders to the cab which I had to cut loose to facilitate the Cummins install (see pic) easy fix I just didn't do it.   The nice thing is the front clip comes off easily in one piece just  remove 12 bolts the headlights and turn signals are all wired into two neat 4 pole plugs just unplug and the truck can be driven without the front clip.  The front timing case on the motor has a slight oil leak from a fallen dowel pin (check out cummins dowel pin problem on the web) I repaired the crack 90% with Loctite epoxy but still has a slight leak(a few drops a day) not a big deal at all. the speedometer is not hooked up.  To my knowledge there is absolutely nothing wrong mechanically with this vehicle that I haven't disclosed.  With all that said this is my daily driver and VERY dependable you can fly in and drive home anywhere in the USA. (or drive in and tow your car with the truck) I will pick you up at the airport.. I've driven the truck to IA and back and PA five times never a problem. If I don't sell her I plan to drive it to the Viva las Vegas show next year with no worries.  This truck runs down the road straight and true NO shaking, vibrating, wandering or pulling only a slight shimmy at very high speed new rear tires and a good balance is all it needs.  Water temp stays between 180 &190 deg on the hottest days. The truck runs, drives and handles very well tops out at approx 110 mph.  Aside from the body mount I've done all the work myself so I know what it is and what its capable of.  Reason for selling? time to move on to the next project.  Please keep in mind this is not a Barrett-Jackson show piece or a trailer queen but it is a very clean and solid driver  that gets driven every day (and gets tons of attention everywhere it goes) but not mint. I believe I've been very honest in my description so you can bid with confidence and be no surprises at time of delivery.  Please call if you have any questions or to inspect before you bid I'll be glad to discuss every detail  330-606-2341. I'm sorry to have to put this in but you must have 95% pos feedback to bid or call me first.  Truck has clear Ohio title in my name as a 1941 International.  Thank you for looking.  You can also see videos @ You Tube search bacobuto  Kranky.
