Up for sale is my 1978 Scout. New baby and dont have time!!!! It is in overall good shape. I have been working on it on and off for the last few years. I painted it and added several things like: power leather seats, rhino lined floor pan and bed, dual shock sterring stabilizer, frame brace, spark plug wires and plugs, and several other things. The motor is a 304 v8 and it runs and drives with an automatic trans with new shift cable. Although it runs, I would recommend it be towed back with you to futher inspect your self. I have driven it many times and as most of you Scout guys know they do sway. I added a frame brace and stabilizers to help this as well as new brakes and wheel bearings. I have an additional International engine and auto trans that will also be available seperatly. The motor is huge could be the 345 or the 392? not sure. No pics of the motor are available. The tailgate has a large dent but I do have an addtional tailgate that is included.
