We require a $500 non-refundable deposit via Paypal within 24 hours of auctions close. This will hold the car up to 7 days while you gather your funds or finalize your financing. Any financing arrangements are strictly between you and the lender and do not impact your contract to purchase the vehicle. The deposit is not refundable if you change your mind or if you cannot obtain financing on the vehicle. Should you need us to hold the car beyond the week, we ask for a deposit of $500 for every $10,000 of vehicle value. This will protect you as well as us. We work with several shipping companies and are quite pleased to assist you in getting quotes and arranging pickup of the vehicle. That said, any shipping contract is between you and the shipping company selected. Car Connections USA, Inc and its employees, directors and managers bear no resposibility for delays in shipping, damage to or loss of the vehicle once it is in the shippers control or any other liability related to the shipment of your vehicle.
What you see is what you get. We try our best to procure books and extra keys from the previous owners. That said, we do not always have all keys, books, floormats, or other accessories for every car. Therefore, we can only guarantee you will receive the accessories that are photographed. For instance, if we show a navigation display with a map, there is a navigation disc with the car. If we show books and keys in the photos, you can count on getting those with the car. If you do not see it, assume the item is not included. We encourage you to email us or call if you are concerned about specific items like floor mats, spare keys, nav discs, DVD headsets, etc.
I started this business as a result of my love for cars. Many of these cars are driven during the course of our sale. Accordingly, vehicle mileage may vary from that stated in the auction due to test drives, maintenance, and other use. This mileage should not exceed 1,000 miles over the reading stated in our listing. We appreciate your understanding of this matter.
We estimate factory warranty expiration dates using vehicle production dates and Carfax information. We are not responsible for factory warranty expiration dates, remaining warranty time, type, validity, or other information. If you want to be certain of the exact warranty expiration date, terms, validity, etc., please verify this information with a certified franchise dealer of the applicable car make. In the course of business, we try to match our risk with areas where we have control over our service level. We hope you understand this.
We insure the vehicles on our lot during the time we have them available for sale. Upon completion of the financial elements of the transaction (you paying us), we encourage you to insure the vehicle from that date forward. We bear NO RESPONSIBILITY for anything that happens to your vehicle once it is out of our control. Vehicles left at our facility for more than 3 days after payment will not be covered by our insurance unless previous arrangements have been made in writing prior to payment.
Every one of our cars goes through a safety inspection. During this inspection, the mechanics look for previous repairs, both mechanically and cosmetically. We offer every car which passes our inspection with an available extended maintenance contract (warranty), which is enables you to have the vehicle serviced at the franchise dealerships. We are a qualifying dealer able to offer this warranty because of our inspection process. Cars which we cannot certify will not be sold unless specifically disclosed as such in our advertising. We are not responsible for other state inspections.
Our auctions have no hidden fees. All vehicles are subject to a $55 Documentary fee. This fee covers the paperwork involved in transferring a vehicle into your name. It applies to dealers, wholesalers, international transactions, priests, you get the gist. We also offer a 30 day transit tag for buyers from outside of PA. This tag is available at a cost to you of $55 and we will need an insurance card and driver's license to issue this tag. The last optional service is a Vehicle Prep Package. For $185 we will make sure the vehicle is detailed professionally and has a full tank of premium fuel when you pick it up. This may sound odd to you, but we often ship cars, in which case they are sent with very little fuel at the request of the shipping company.
We strive to disclose each and every blemish on a vehicle when we create our listings. The stated overall condition of the vehicle, whether it may be termed showroom, clean, mint, or otherwise, is determined upon the model year & mileage of the car in comparison to other cars of similar age & miles. This is a pre-owned car, and buyers must be aware that ordinary wear is associated with all pre-owned cars. We do our best to photograph any and all imperfections which we feel may be noticeable to a prospective buyer. Keep in mind that not all imperfections can appear on a digital photo. Most cars may have touch-ups, door dings, scratches, scuffs, seat or interior wear but we do our best to ensure that none of these issues takes away from the overall appearance of the car.
