| This is a magnificent 1965 Jaguar E Type Series I OTS.The "sweet spot" of E-type production was 1965-67 Series I due to having the 4.2 liter engine with syncromesh transmission, covered headlights along with trim side and rear lights, toggle switches on the dash, triple carbs and spinner/knock-off wire wheels. It is a beautiful Lippincott restoration.It is finished in dark blue with a black interior and Stayfast cloth top. The car drives as good as looks.We acquired it from the previous owner who had it for 20 years.He had the car restored in 1997 and we have all the receipts and pictures. We have owned it for a year and enjoyed it thoroughly. While in our care, we have fettled the car completely. We have buffed and polished the paint and chrome to near perfection. The car looks better in person, if you can believe that. We have the JDHT certificate, verifying it is number's matching.
