For sale by owner, No Reserve!: "Mechanic Special" 1983 Jaguar XJ6. I bought this vehicle used as a "first car" for my son. Neither he nor I know anything about car maintenance and repair! This car was running when I bought it for my son, but now will not "catch" when turning it over. I figure it is a loose wire somewhere, but I will leave that to the experts. The engine is actually a Chevy S-10, (says "VORTEC") so that will make this vehicle's engine less expensive to work on and maintenance. It has dual gas tanks, so you can really "fill up" when the prices are decent! The interior of the car is in nice condition (see pictures) and the body is solid with minor cosmetic problems (dents, fading paint, some rust). There is a sun roof, as well as a cassette player/radio and power seats, windows and door locks. There is A/C but I don't think it is currently working. If I have left anything out, let me know and I will try to answer the question. My loss is your gain! Pick up/delivery will be the responsibility of the buyer.
