Due to age and poor health, I am breaking up my collection of Jaguars. Here is a 1984 VDP which, with a small amount of work can be turned into a beauty!
The exterior is in good shape and the Silversand paint looks good except for the fact that the clearcoat is deteriorating. There are no dents or rust and all chrome is in fine shape.
The interior , Doeskin in color has begun to deteriorate in the rear (the front seats have sheepskin covers), but I will replace the rear seat with a good used set which I just removed from my wife's car which underwent a $30k restoration.
Mechanically, the car is in great condition, except for the brakes which need to be redone before driving. Since 2000, the previous owner invested over $14k in this car (receipts will be with the vehicle) and with a further small investment, in paint and brake work, this car will be spectacular!
