| I am offering one of my favorite cars as I downsize my collection.It is a 1987 Jaguar Vanden Plas in Burgundy with Doeskin interior in excellent condition.The leather is very supple and not dry or cracked and only has wear on the drivers seat bolster, but it can easily be repaired ,and the rear seats are equally clean only with little wear and the carpet is in great condition including the original VDP wooly mats ,the wood is still very dark and still beautiful with in great with only minor hairline by the gearshift .All the guages and switches work including both gas tanks and all windows,door locks and sunroof. The car is very clean and all original, including the original books and manuals and 2 sets of keys.The only the addition is the Jaguar mud flaps added at the dealer when new. For the exterior it still has the original paint and still looks great and shines like new and has none of the cracking or haziness that some cars get if exposed to the sun ,at the time of photos the car was a little dusty so when washed and waxed you can only imagine the condition and how beautiful the car is.The chrome is very bright and shiny and it has NO rust around the windows,floors,doors or wheels arches but it has a little spot around the Jaguar badge on the fender and very minor dings all that can be taken care of as none of them have broken the paint. The paint is almost perfect with only some scratches that had been touched up only paint work ever done to the car was done back maybe 10 years ago on the drivers side doors to repair some paint flaws but that is the only if any flaws,but you must look really hard to tell Once Detailed it will look great close to perfect. Mechanically it only has 78k original miles and I nor the 1st owner drove it often,as they kept it in the garage and so have I.It has new front brakes,new front tires, rears are still good and the car drives very tight and has NO leaks and burns NO oil and drives beautifully.The engine compartment as well as the trunk are equally as clean and you can jump in and drive anywhere!I have too many cars and not enough space.It is a a Burgundy 1987 VDP with ,low miles and and is great condition.The only thing that i have noticed out of its winter storage is the a/c of course is not as cold anymore and a section of the headliner the size of a cd is beginning to come unglued but is still great condition .The only reason for selling is too many cars and not enough space and This is not a car I want to leave outside for a hot summer and as you can se it has always been garaged ,so I'd hope to pass it on to another Jag Lover who will appreciate her as much as i did. The car is 21 years old and is not perfect but it is not far from it and looks maybe half its age. On May-13-08 at 17:36:23 PDT, seller added the following information:The added pictures are of back seat ,more interior to show dark wood out of the sun,Leaping jaguar to show condition of chrome and paint,and under rear bumper with jaguar Mudflap,the spots are dirt not chips,as the car was still not washed before the pictures.The car is In beautiful condition.
