Up for Auction is a - 1986 Jeep CJ 7 - Laredo - 258 / 4.2 Liter Straight 6 cylinder. Runs Excellent. T-5 / 5 Speed Transmission, Dana 300 Transfer Case. Stock Axles. All in Excellent operational condition. 4X4 Works in Low / High 4X2 Works also flawlessly. Power Steering / Power Brakes. This Jeep Drives with smooth power delivery, smooth shifting as you would expect. Clutch has been replaced, as well as many other parts you can find in the book of records included with the purchase of this Jeep. Tilt Steering Column for easy adjustment for driver. New Bestop waterproof Front seats, perfect condition. Both seats pivot forward to allow for rear passenger entry, both seats have adjustable sliders for forward and rearward adjustment. Bestop rear seat in near perfect condition, seam came undone, not torn, can be easily repaired by taking off seat cover, stitching and replace. All seat belt are in excellent condition. Jeeps interior is fully carpeted. Black, even interior side walls, very good, clean condition. Stock console with locking key included. (I have a new Tuffy Security Locking Console that I will change out for an additional $250.00 OVER winning bid if you want it.) The interior is very clean, original, OEM. Dash is complete, original equipment and all guages work. Some of the lights are out, but bulbs can be changed. New Windshield Frame, new windshield. Clear and flawless. Wipers work. Original NON Rusty windshield hinges. Hood, fenders in remarkable condition. New Fender flares. Engine compartment is extremely clean. Must see to appreciate. I just put on a new valve cover / gasket because the last cover leaked. Now it is not leaking. A full tune up just given and she purrs like a kitten. Does not smoke. Newer battery, battery cables. Jeep starts right up from cold, runs till warm, kicks down with auto choke. Idles no problem at 700 RPMS as specified. Valves are very clean, no gummed up mess. I have pic's that I will show you when Jeep is picked up or delivered. Chrome Front grill. Perfect. All new door hardware, hood hardware. Where I replaced nuts and bolts, I used grade 8 hardware. Bumpers are (front), Smitty Built with added matching Yellow Fog/Driving lights. Rear Bumper is Westin, both heavy guage steel tubing, NOT junk. Smittybuilt Nerf Bars. American Racing Black Crawler style rims with color trim. Very Good condition. Brand new Chrome A/R Center Caps/ Rear. Tires are used. They have about another 2-4k left on them. The spare is new and was used only a short time on matching rim. The front tires have some dry cracking going on, but not detrimental to replace until tires wear a litle more. The shocks are functional, but should be replaced soon. The Jeep drives smooth, you decide. The frame of the Jeep is in VERY good condition. The Tub is connected strongly to the frame and it would take a Mack truck to broadside it to try to knock it off the frame. I did make repairs to the floors, and tub. 3/16 ths inch steel was used on the floors for a permanent repair. All welded. NO rivets. Sealed. I also have pictures to show the work. It was not extensive, but done right the first time. I believe in quality. The main part of the tub was repainted as you can see in the pic's. Included with this Jeep are the following: Black Hard Top as seen in pic's, Very good condition, hatch works great, as does the pistons to hold it up. Bikini Top By Bestop, top rail front to two footman loops on rear corner panels. Perfect Condition. A nice set of Bestop Half Black doors. Work and look great. A VERY nice set of Hard doors. Open and close effortlessly. Glass is all good, windows crank up / down easily. A Blaupunkt CD AM/FM Radio is included, wiring to rear speakers need to be hooked up. I will try to get to that before auctions end. Quartz Clock as in all Laredo's. works and keeps perfect time. Delay wipers, Tilt wheel, OEM Steering wheel with cover. (There is a small tear in the steering wheel, thats why there is a cover.) All exterior lights work, signals, markers, high / low beam, horn etc......Brakes work, Emergency brake cable replaced.
