This auction is for a 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer that I bought about 6 months ago. I have used it as a daily driver since I bought it. It has 4 new tires(less than 1,000 miles on them), which were over $300.00 alone, and a new starter within the last few months. It also had a rebuilt carb., new fuel pump, and new front brake lines and pads about a year ago. I have the original air cleaner and air pump.
It has been very reliable. It has a powerful 5.9 liter AMC V8 with a torqueflite Transmission. It runs and shifts great. Being an old truck, it has some rusted out areas. These can be seen in the photos. It has exhaust leaks (manifold gaskets and a crack in the y-pipe), but I have driven it like this. It has a factory receiver hitch on it. A draw bar with a 2 inch ball on it is included. I towed 2 cars with this Wagoneer, so it's ready to be used for that purpose as well.
The interior is VERY NICE! The drivers seat bottom is ripped, but that's it. All of the windows work(right rear is a little slow), including the tailgate window. It has a nice CD player, which works great.
Personally, I would do nothing to this truck. It would make a great work truck or daily driver. I have the rear sun visor that goes above the tailgate window, which is included. If it goes over $1,000.00., I will include a good used power steering box, as well as 2 Grand Cherokee wheels with good tires. I am only selling this truck because I need a smaller car.
