** 1988 Jeep Wrangler ** Only 94K Original Miles !!! Don't miss this one!!!!! Great Project / Parts Vehicle !!! Easy Fix or Lots of Great Parts!!!! 4.0 Straight 6, Automatic !!!!!!! ****** 4x4 ****** Up for auction is a a 1988 Jeep Wrangler . This Jeep is in excellent shape for a 1988 Jeep. This vehicle only has 94,000 original miles on it. The previous owner ran out of money / time and knowledge to complete this project for his daughter to drive. I obtained this Jeep due to money that was owed to me. I am selling it as-is with NO RESERVE !!! I was told that it was New York State inspected and driven up through 2007. The previous owner said that he started to hear a knock in the motor. He took the valve cover off and to investigate and ran out of money, time and knowledge. He ended up buying a different vehicle for his daughter to drive to school and gave this Jeep to me for some money that he owed me. All the parts that were removed from the engine to investigate the knock are all together and accounted for (ie the engine is complete) and will go with the Jeep to the winning bidder. Also, the fender flares, and other miscellenous parts will go with it as well. (see photos) Please consider that the motor may need work or may need to be replaced. In checking with a local auto parts store, I am told that the 4.0 6 cylinder is a very easy to find motor. (est. I've received for used are $350 - $675.00) The interior of the vehicle is in great shape for a 1988 Jeep. Seat covers were always left on the seats so the seats show very little signs of wear. (see photos) The dash and door panels are all in great shape as well. The exterior is also in great shape. The exterior doors, hood and tail gate as well as all the hardware are all in excellent condition. The previous owner said that the soft top, tires and wheels are only one year old. (and they look it) The soft top is in excellent shape. The black wheels show very little wear and the tires have plenty of tread left. This Jeep was repainted white one year ago by an amateur but still the Jeep looks great for being a 1988. It would either be a great project or parts vehicle.
