| Here is my very nice 1979 Jeep CJ5. The jeep has a fiberglass body and it is Forest Green jell coat. The inside of the jeep is Rino lined for durability The hood is fiberglass and the windshield area is not rusted and if you tap it, it sounds like fiberglass but I can't say for sure on that. The front 2 and rear seat are brand new. The dash pad is new also.The engine is a 304 with a 2 barrel carb. The transmission is a 3 speed manual with a 2 speed transfer case. The front axle has Warn lock out hubs and they work just fine.The tires are like new they still have the wiskers on them as seen in the one picture, they are 31 inch BF Goodrich tires mounted on Mickey Thompson aluminum wheels. The engine runs great but has alittle blow by with that many miles on it what can you expect. The exhaust system is brand new with a catylitic converter installed if you would need it for emissions in your area. The jeep is mechaniclly sound, the only problem I have is the front drivers seat needs remounted back alittle for a large person to get in, other than that its a very nice jeep. The front grille is stainless steel as are the front and rear bumpers, the rear view mirrors on both sides are stainless steel also. The under carriage seems to be sound, I see no real problems anywhere underneath it.The jeep has a PA inspection til july of 08.
