1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer
Restored at ClassicGrandWagoneers
Only 53,000 Original Miles
Why waste your time with those listings with hidden reserves? This one is a NO RESERVE Auction! Someone gets it when it's over! BID NOW!
I had this listed at NO RESERVE last week, but eBay removed my listing, since I had a link on here that referenced back to my restoration website. Apparently, you are not allowed to reference back to better pictures and more details. So, I removed all the links from this listing and they removed it again. I'm trying this one more time. So, since they won't let me refer you back to some additional pictures and details, as well as some pictures of my past restorations/sales, I have included them at the bottom of this listing. So, please accept my apologies to all of you that were bidding and watching.
The time has come to let my favorite toy go. I am listing it here at NO RESERVE, hoping you guys can tell the difference between a HIGH QUALITY GRAND WAGONEER from some of the covered up junk out there. I have restored and found homes for many Jeep Grand Wagoneers, and this one has been my personal daily driver. You can check out my website to see of my past restorations and sales. Please take the time to let the photos and videos load. I know these rigs very well, and have taken multiple pictures of the common trouble spots with these, to show that this one HAS NONE OF THOSES PROBLEMS. It is entirely 100% Rust Free - There is NO Rust on the Quarter Panels, There is NO RUST on the Rocker Panels, There is NO RUST on the Frame and Undercarriage, There is NO RUST under the Wood Grain, There is NO RUST under the Wood Grain Trim, and there is NO RUST on the Floor Pans). I have even attached a copy of the CarFax report to show that she has been a Texas and New Mexico rig her entire life - just click on the link below to see it.
Mechanically, she runs perfectly. She starts the first time, every time. There is no hesitation or stumbling at acceleration or missing when sitting at a stop light. There are no leaks and the transmission shifts perfectly. She recently passed the TX State emissions requirements, and I have attached a copy of for your review. All of the windows roll up and down like they are supposed to. The rear window works from both the dash switch and the key in the tailgate.
The interior is immaculate, and I am including a third row tailgating seat (it is not bolted down, but comes in pretty handy when having tailgate parties at your favorite ballgame), cargo cover and a set of uninstalled running boards. There are no rips, stains or tears in the upholstery. She doesn't appear to every have been smoked in. I have installed a carpet-like dash pad over the dash and a cover over the steering wheel to protect them from the hash sun out here in Texas. The AC blows ice cold and the heater and defroster works like it should. The stereo is the original and works great with the new speakers I installed. I know some of you guys buy these to keep at your summer or winter home, so this one has a battery switch, which kills the power from the battery when it is sitting for long periods of time without draining the battery - just flip the switch when you leave in the fall and flip it back when you return in the spring.
The body and paint on this one is perfect. The body was sanded down, all hail dings were removed and repainted with the correct color code paint for Dover Gray, then clearcoated. This was a professional, high dollar paint job by a reputable body shop. I am contantly looking at Grand Wagoneers to restore, and am amazed at the poor quality of some of the "repaints" I see out there with overspray on the woodgrain and window wipes. This one was prepped properly, There is no overspray or orangepeel. There is not a scratch in the paint. Prior to repaint, I removed all of the chrome pieces (including the bumpers), polished them back to a brilliant shine and renewed the black bumper stops. Before reinstalling everything, I sealed the roof rack holes, to prevent future water damage to the headliner. So, if you are looking for a show-quality Jeep Grand Wagoneer, this is the one to go with.
Remember, this is a NO RESERVE listing, but I do have her for sale locally as well as on my website, so I reserve the right to end this listing early. I am listing this on Saturday, so you have all week to get your financing in place. You are bidding to win this Stunning Jeep Grand Wagoneer. You are NOT BIDDING to see if your significant other will let you come out to take a look at her and kick her tires after the auction ends (if you want to do that, give me a call at 817.946.4581 before the auction ends and we can make arrangements for that). You are NOT BIDDING to see if I'll take $100.00 down and $5.00 a week until it is paid off - that is what financial institutions are for, and I am not one of those. You are NOT BIDDING to see if I will take a certified check for more than you paid for it, so that I can pay your shipping agent when he comes to pick it up for shipment to Nigeria - go hassle someone else. You ARE BIDDING to WIN and take home one of the finest Jeep Grand Wagoneers that money can buy. In this condition with just over 53,000 original miles, she would be a $30,000 rig on some of those other websites. Don't let this one get away! BID NOW!
Shipping will be your responsibility. If you want to fly in to Dallas and drive her home, I can make arrangements to pick you up at the airport. I can also drop her off at your shipper, provided it is within 50 miles of North Richland Hills, TX 76180. This will save you some money on shipping charges.
Wow, what a rare find in this condition! Very Low Miles and 100% RUST FREE! Do you know how hard it is to find one of these in this condition? There were originally only 10,150 of these put out in 1989. Over the past 20 years, how many have succumbed to abuse, neglect, rust damage, catastrophe, etc? Now, thanks to our brilliant minds in Washington, how many of the survivors were "given away" in the Cash for Clunkers program, only to be taken off the streets and destroyed? When you consider that, these are going to be VERY RARE in the near future, especially one in this condition. This one can be bought, driven for another 50,000 miles and still make your money back (and then some). Better than the stock market and real estate, huh?
Thanks for checking out my listing and good luck bidding. If you have some questions that I haven't covered, shoot me an email or give me a call. Thanks, Jim.

For sale is my personal daily driver, my 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. It is in excellent condition, with no leaks, hesitations, dents or rust. To put it shortly, you will not find a more reliable, rust free Jeep Grand Wagoneer on the market. I have put tons of time and money into this one. I was going to keep it for myself, but have found another one I want to fix up instead, so this one has to go. Make Me An Offer! You will not be disappointed in this ride!
Watch out for those Hidden Problem/Hidden Rust Grand Wagoneers out there. Can you afford to replace body panels, floor pans and rotten frames?
I buy, restore and sell Jeep Grand Wagoneers as a hobby. I am not a used car dealer. I love these Wagoneers, and only restore these vehicles, nothing else. I search for only the best Wagoneers that I can find, use them as daily drivers as I restore them, then find them new homes.
Since this is not a full-time business for me, but more of a hobby, I am only able to restore a handful of these a year. The amount of love and attention that I put back into these Wagoneers is evident in the multiple pictures shown in each Woody I have for sale.
You are looking at my 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer with only 53,000 ORIGINAL MILES. The body, as well as the frame, are Entirely 100% Rust Free. I have saved the Carfax Report and scanned it in, so you can click on the link above to see that this outstanding example of a Grand Wagoneer is a Texas and New Mexico vehicle its entire life. It starts the first time, every time and rides and drives like a new car. You can check out my work at ClassicGrandWagoneers to see the work that goes into each of my Woodies.
Thanks for looking and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
