Jeep : CJ CJ5 1975 Jeep CJ5 - Awesome Machine - Over 400 HP

I have owned this CJ since 2000 and have only put 2957 miles on it since. Less than 400 miles on engine. Do not know if mileage is actual. The mileage is really not important as EVERYTHING on this Jeep has been rebuilt or replaced. Has never been offroad since build. There are just so many new parts that I can not list them all here. I always wanted a hot Jeep, so I built one. I have lost interest in it and it has not been on the road since 2005. Selling now so I can find another project to work on. This is an original V8 (304) CJ, but that engine was replaced with a totally built AMC 360. Little expense was spared on this engine and it puts out over 400 HP. Body is all steel with exception of front fenders which are fiberglass. All floors, body mounts and frame are solid. The body has been welded on, fiberglass/plastic filler applied and painted. New all steel windshield frame was installed. Tranny is 3spd manual. Rear end is Dana 44 with 4.27 gears and Loc-Right Locker. Front is Dana 30. Gears were not installed into front end and it also needs a front driveshaft. Transfer Case is a Dana 20 that was rebuilt with all new bearings/seals and works perfect. All NEW brakes, wheel cylinders, brake lines, master cylinder, steering linkages, upper/lower ball joints, gas tank, radiator, wheels/tires (33 inch), 2 1/2 inch suspension lift, u-bolt skid plates and on and on! The only top is the bikini top shown. I do not have a full top or doors.

What is wrong with it: Windshield is cracked, have no clue why (happened over the winter), needs gears installed in front end and needs front driveshaft. The only other thing I had planned to replace on this Jeep is the steering box. I just think it could steer better, but people have told me that it just steers like any other early model CJ5. I have no idea, I just think it could be better.

This Jeep is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells.

Would consider trade for late 70's, early 80's Corvette or 1964 2 door Ford Fairlane of similar value.
