The description below is the one that the guy had on ebay when I bought it. **SHARP CLASSIC JEEP SCRAMBLER** You are bidding on a 1982 Jeep Scrambler. I am the third owner of this classic, and the second owner to use it as a driver. I have tried to upgrade only things that would increase the value of this Jeep, and leave as much of the original parts as possible. This is a list of the work done and new parts that was installed. § New one-piece rear axel kit § New wheel bearings all four § New brakes all four § New exhaust § New radiator § New head lamps and park lamps § New seat covers and console § New paint original color § New windshield frame § New tinted windshield § New weather striping for the doors, windows, and windshield § New stainless Iron Horse tube bumpers front and rear § New fender flares New stainless mirrors The door, hood, and tailgate have stainless hinges. The body was stripped to the metal, and had very little rust. The primer was a polyurethane used to prevent future problems. All bolts that was taken out was replaced with stainless. The motor is a 258 CI 6 cyl, and the transmission is a 5 speed. Power steering The original radio is missing, it now has an aftermarket unit in it. The Jeep has been parked in my carport for a while, and the only problems I know that needs work is the carb, and the valve cover gasket. The motor has about 165000 miles, but runs like a new truck. Transmission shifts good. This Jeep still has the original emission control equipment, and all gauges work. Buyer is responsible for shipping.
