Everything works as it should. The heat will even keep you warm in the winter!
Every record was kept in a folder dating back to 1985.
When I set out to build this Jeep I wanted something that I could go in the woods with (not that I would) and still have valet parked at the nice 5 star restaurants in town. I think I have done that pretty well. I would also like to say that if you are looking for a perfect mint CJ5 go spend 25K on one. They are on here and please don't bother with mine. This jeep has so many new parts on it I'm sure I will forget some things but lets start with the ones I know.
ALL NEW :
- 10,000 lbs winch
- and we lifted it up a bit to give the 33" tires some room to breath
- Goodyear 33x12.50 Wrangler Ats tires x 5
- 5 Black Craiger 15"x10" rims
- All new Brakes front and rear
- All new shocks
- New exhaust from the motor all the way back nice and quiet not like most CJ's
- New nerf bars custom welded to fit with the tires also custom made body mounts where the nerf bars are welded in
- New best top super top all windows can be Zipped out for easy summer fun.
- EMPI 2 barrel carb. More power than the 1 barrel
- New black custom molded carpet
- Like new seats (front and rear) out of a 2000 Wrangler. They are custom mounted with the much better rear seat people don't mind sitting in.
- All new seat belts front and rear
- New locking center console with cup holders front and rear.
- All new dashboard lights.
- All hood hardware is new as well.
- New rear bumper.
- All new paint job (chestnut brown metalic) any rust that was found was cut out and new metal was put in. This jeep has every orginal panel still on it with a few little improvements here and there. $1850.00 my shop cost
- Replaced gas tank and gas line 4 years ago.
- Replaced radiator
- A little over 6k was spent on the jeep in just the last 2 months I got most of this stuff at my cost The paint and body work would have cost you twice that easy but it's my shop.
AND just so much more!!! I can't think of them off the top of my head.
This really is a great Jeep, everyone that sees the jeep asks a million questions about it and tells us how nice it is. There is a dash pad (NOT IN PHOTOS) but it will be on the Jeep when you pick it up. I have a appointment to have the whole thing wet sanded and buffed out this week due to some heavy spots of clear coat (15 coats in all, yes you can shave in it )
Above all else the jeep runs and drives great. Even when we had -20 wind chill last winter she started first try everytime, no problems at all. I drive it everyday and I will greatly miss her but I want to restore a scrambler next so this one has to go.
Please! Please! ask questions I'm very honest about my auctions and everything I sell. This is a newer Ebay name due to my last one getting hacked but I have sold boats and cars on here without problems for several years all the way back to the time when there was no Ebaymotors!
I will be adding a few things here and there. Just touch ups on stuff that bugs me ;) The miles are TMU due to a spring breaking in the speedo. It works fine but the miles are all messed up. I may just replace it with a new one.
the jeep had a full roll cage in it when I got it and I can put that back in and have it painted to match if you would like me too thats up to you.. we can work that out after the auction.
