Mostlikely the ONLY ONE in the US (at least in this condition) !!!
Titled in CA since 2006 as a CAMPER VAN (NO smog test EVER) - right now on NON-OP !
The crew cab fits two people - the rear cabin still has a bench for three ! The crew cab needs to be cleaned up ! The rear cabin only has a couple of benches - please see the pix !!!???!!!
The hole vehicle is made from steel (not aluminium) with NO pass-through between the two cabins !
1965/66 LAND ROVER SERIE II B built for a volontary fire department in Austria (by ROSENBAUER) and later prepared to become a camper ! The rear cabin is about 48' wide, 72' high and 126' long.
I've brought her into the US in 2005 - no known history before that time !
6 cyl. gas engine (2,6 L) - odometer shows less than 14,000 km (but no garanties).
Newer paint job (2006) in ok quality - NO RUST or ACCIDENTS ever - including fire wall etc. (besides some minor spots of surface rost underneath) !!! NEW master brake cylinder and overhauled starter ! Red seems to have been the original color.
Overall in good condition - inside needs work !
Running good and in working order including brakes, clutch, engine, lights etc. - NO SMOKE !!!
2 or 4 wheel drive with blockable axles !!!
She hasn't been driven for more than a year BUT will be ready again before pick-up. She barely reaches high way speed so I don't recommend a long trip !!!
NO warranties since vehicle is more than 40 years old !!!
