1963 Lincoln Continental Conv. I am relisting due to the last winning bidder not contacting me after winning. Please do not bid unless you plan on buying the car. I purchased this car about 5 years ago planning on getting it on the road. I had two kids at the time. I now have five kids and with the help of my wife have come to the realization that I will not have the time or the money to get this car on the road.
The good: The car is all there. It ran about three years ago when I drove it around the yard, but can't get it started. I have recently changed the plugs, wires, cap and rotor and put in a new battery. The seats are in great shape. The body is straight no sagging, doors open and close with no rubbing.
The bad: The floors are shot. The door panels and dash need to be redone, The top is in the trunk and I can't get it out, It doesn't start, the tires hold air for a while, the car was painted before I got it and it looks like there was some repair to the rear quarters (bondo). The car needs to be restored.
This is a classic car with less than 3,000 made in 1963. I've never seen one on the road and from what I've seen on ebay these cars bring big money when redone.
The car will need to be towed to it's new home.
The car comes with no warranties. I have tried to describe it as best as possible. Please ask questions before bidding.
