This awesome, exquisitely maintained, garage parked, one owner, original 37 year old is a special 1971 Mark III. The orginal owner lived in Oklahoma City and this was his pride and joy! It rarely was driven in the rain, only if he got caught out in it, and most of its driving was in Oklahoma City as the owner had been retired since the 1980's. All of its early maintenance and repairs were done at the former Fred Jones Lincoln Mercury in Oklahoma City. Since 1980, the owner only let one technician at Don's J & J Garage work on this car. The owner had any repair made as soon as it appeared and never let repairs mount up. It has been painted once and was done nicely. It does have a few minor paint chips and very light rust starting to appear in the typical areas of this era car, between the rear glass and the air vent and on the lower rear quarter panels.
The original title is included with copies of most of the State of Oklahoma inspections. The state inspections prove the honest milage as these cars did not keep track of milage over 100,000 miles.
NADA Guides show this car to be valued at the low retail of $10,000, average retail of $14,500 and high retail value of $21,700. We would conservatively rate this car a 9. She's not perfect, but she is very close.
