1974 Lincoln Continental Mark IV luxury coupe. This is the top of the line Lincoln coupe in 1974. Equipped with the 460 cubic inch V8 engine and automatic transmission. This vehicle odometer indicates 22365 which based on the overall condition of the car we feel this is probably 122365 actual miles. The exterior body on this Lincoln is very straight and overall it still looks really nice. Original California car, and based on the title it's been the same owner since 1978.
Unlike some other sellers on eBay we do not put mint in the titles of our cars and then proceed to bury the flaws in long paragraphs where they can be overlooked. Please take the time to view all the pictures and the point by point descriptions. The reserve will not be disclosed during the auction.
We always like to find original California cars, and this Lincoln is a perfect example. Overall good to excellent condition with normal wear inside and out, and the Lincoln runs excellent. In the glovebox is the original owners manual, and factory sales brochure with a photograph of this car in this color in the catalog.

VEHICLE EXTERIOR CONDITION
- Overall condition of the exterior is good to excellent with normal wear.
- We didn't repaint this vehicle because we didn't see any reason to. The original brown paint on the exterior of this Lincoln still looks good, with some wear, minor dings, and scatches consistent with a used vehicle, but nothing major. Overall the body is straight and the paint looks good.
- The front grill, headlights, and front bumper areas are in excellent original condition with normal wear. This fine Lincoln is equipped with the concealed headlights in the doors. They work fine.
- The rear taillights and rear bumper areas are in excellent original condition with normal wear.
- All four tires are in excellent original condition, and appear to be about 50% worn. They are size P235-75-R15 with a spare to the rear.
- This is a very nice Lincoln. It is exempt from any emissions inspection in California.
VEHICLE INTERIOR CONDITION
- Overall condition of the interior is good original with normal wear.
- The front driver seat is in average original condition with normal wear.
- The front passenger seat is in good original condition with normal wear.
- The rear seat is in good original condition with normal wear.
- The dash pad is in excellent original condition with normal wear, and is not cracked.
- The dash face is in excellent original condition with normal wear.
- There is a factory AM/FM 8-track radio correctly installed in the dash. It works fine, but we're unable to test the 8-track.
- The carpeting is in excellent original condition with normal wear.
- Both door panels are in good original condition with normal wear.
- The headliner is in good original condition with normal wear.
- The steering wheel is in good to excellent original condition with normal wear.
- The overhead visors are in excellent original condition with normal wear. Both are equipped with dual mirrors.
- The trunk area is in excellent original condition with normal wear. Spare tire and jack are present.
VEHICLE ELECTRICAL CONDITION
- Overall electrical condition of the vehicle is excellent original with normal wear.
- Equipped with factory climate control air conditioning, it blows but it's not cold. Possibly as simple as a re-charge of the system but we're not sure.
- Heater and defroster functions work fine.
- Windshield wipers work fine.
- Headlight and turn signals are functioning correctly.
- Equipped with factory AM/FM/8-track radio, it works fine.
- Equipped with power steering and power brakes, they work fine.
- Equipped with factory cruise control.
- Equipped with DUAL power seats, they work fine.
- Equipped with tilt steering wheel, it works fine.
- Equipped with power trunk release, it works fine.
- Equipped with power windows, the left side works fine. The passenger side windows appear to be off the rollers, as you can hear the motor engage for the window but it doesn't move.
- Equipped with power locks, they work fine.
VEHICLE MECHANICAL CONDITION
This Lincoln Continetal Mark IV luxury coupe is equipped with the 460 cubic inch V8 engine and automatic transmission. It runs excellent. This Lincoln has been driven several times with no problems at all. It was left running during the photography process, again with no problems. Performance is excellent; it’s comfortable, dependable, and safe. The transmission shifts with no problems or unusual noises. The vehicle accelerates smoothly and sounds great, also no unusual noises. The engine does not ping or knock. Acceleration is strong, braking is strong, it just runs great overall. No known problems here.
