Mazda : RX-7 GSLSE RX7 Special Edition

This is the car you've been looking for. An antique in most states beginning in January which could exempt it from inspection and emissions testing. Passed final Georgia tests in March this year. Southern car with no rust and well cared for. The previous owner bought this car in 94 and maintained it well until my purchase in 2006. The car drives and runs well. I have been using it as my daily driver for over three years. Recently made a trip from Atlanta to St. Petersburg, FL 1200 miles round trip with no issues.

A new Mazda factory engine was installed by Mazda @ 147,820 miles. A new clutch/pressure plate/bearing along with a Monza free flow exhaust pipe and muffler were also fitted. This engine is strong with only 33,000+ miles on the clock. I purchased the car with 157,600 miles and have done some upgrades including; Mazda dealer full circle inspection @ 10/23/06. Based on that both front struts were replaced/idler arm bushings/steering box adjustment and a four wheel alignment. A generation 2 oil cooler was also fitted with new hoses. I installed a K&N air filter, Magnacor 8.5 MM spark plugs wires, a new distributor cap and rotor and NGK spark plugs. All fluids were drained and replaced. Engine oil/transmission/rear end all use Royal Purple racing oil. New gas struts for the rear hatch installed 11/06 and a new turn signal canceling switch in feb 07. New Clutch master cylinder and braided stainless steel hose 9/07.  New AC compressor/clutch/filter drier fitted in June 2009 along with new o rings to allow conversion to R134a refrigerant.

Included with the sale are the factory alloy SE wheels. The car currently wears 16" Momo wheels with General UHP high performance 205/45's which were installed in July 2009. The optional glass moon roof is included along with the factory steel top in the original factory pouch. The car has a 6 speaker Pioneer Premier sound system with a 12 disc changer mounted in the storage bin behind the driver. Sounds great and includes a remote now stored in the console. Pioneer manual included along with a Haynes repair manual and the factory owners manual.

The minor issues are; Cruise is not working and believed to be the steering column switch. A replacement should fix the issue. Rear window wiper is not wired in and most people remove it anyway to clean up the appearance. Just didn't get around to it. The seats are brown leather and the driver's seat has some open cracks in the left bottom seat panel and has been restitched along the left seam. Passenger is in good shape. Minor dent in the left front fender was repaired and repainted along with the front facia.
