During the four and a half years that I have owned this car, I've driven about 7000 miles and had lots of fun getting this car back to the excellent condition this first generation model deserves. In August 2008, the body was restored and repainted its original color--Sunrise Red. And after original black striping was applied, one gallon of clear coat was sprayed on to give a superb depth of shine. The pictures only hint at how beautiful this car is. In December 2008, the air conditioning system was removed, flushed, and reinstalled with a new condenser, accumulator, hoses, and converted to R134a. AC is ice cold. Everything works, including radio, electric antenna, and cruise control, Here's the list of what's been replaced since I have owned the car:: all fluids, including antifreeze, brake fluid, transmission and differential oil, and engine oil; wiper blades; hatch lifts; tires; exhaust system; radiator hoses, heater hoses; fan clutch; battery; fan belts; starter; spark plugs, cap, and rotor; battery; fuel pump and filter; metering pump gasket; clutch master cylinder; clutch slave cylinder; clutch, pressure plate and bearing; oil pressure switch; master cylinder; brake booster; front brake calipers; rear brake cylinders and shoes; axle oil seal; exhaust manifold gasket.
