Could be daily driver -Eggshell white exterior - cognac MBTex interior in great condition
I bought the car about3 years ago at 172K mls. Current milage is around 179k. I am the third owner. Thesecond owner received the car as a present from the elderly first owner as agift and sold it to me right away.
The good: Interior is in verygood shape overall.
Cognac MB-Tex that’sin great shape.
Starts right up everytime.
Receipts from day 1 upuntil 135K, equates to 1.5 service booklets with stamps from dealers. A lot of receipts after that.
Transmission shiftssmoothly, was rebuilt, have receipt.
All gauges work,including their lights.
Have original radio,but have a CD player installed. The cutouts on the rear deck seem to beoriginal. Unmolested door panels.
Power windows all work.
No power locks thatcan foul up.
White steering wheel.
Custom wool mats ingreat condition.
AC blows cold forabout half an hour.
Heater blower works onall speeds, control levers work.
Rear window defrosterworks, save one or two wires.
Seals in front andrear window are newer.
Mostly original paint.
Recent muffler.
Rear fender wellsredone with POR-15.
Rockers solid.
Original undercoating still in great shape.
Very solid car overall. Drives and handleswell and brakes straight. I'll throw in theMercedes repair manual CD and a car cover.
The bad: Very few cracks indoor arm rests.
Chrome/stainless steel not inconcourse condition. Slight pitting, no rust. But all the pieces are there.
The car seems to havehad a parking lot fender bender, because the rear right fender has some bondo.Repair job was done professionally, though.
I assume the frontleft fender was replaced at some point. This is the only fender that is showingsome bubbling.
Some minor rust spots.
Turn flasher relayneeds to be replaced. Only works above 80 deg. F.
Wood trim piece under windshieldneeds to be renovated. The sun has deteriorated the lacquer.
