For sale is my Mercedes 190E 16valve Cosworth. Car is in great shape for the year and miles. Engine runs superb and the tranny shifts great. Ive owned 4 of these 16 valves previously and this has by far been the best of them all. as hard as these cars are to find, you will find them for 4k to 5k, but nothing will run like this one. The prev 4 cars I owned ran barely as good as this one. Im a 16v / E30/E36 M3 fanatic and hence I keep buying them when I see them - its an affliction that I cant get out of , that I believe a lof of 16v owners probably have also. slight mods include bilstein sports all around with Intrax lowering springs all around installed recently - SLS has been deleted. everything else is stock , except for an alpine cd player. Excellent handling, no clunks, no rattles, solid tight straight car. no vibrations at highway speeds. A/C and heater works great. A/C is R134 converted. problems include cracks on the dash, odo not working, small ding on the rear left corner. one dime size rust spot on the door and one rust bubble on the left front fender, rear windows do not work.
This is an especially good deal for someone looking to buy a 16v, since this is a troublefree car, unlikes a lof ot them out there, suffering from various age/mileage/lack of maintenance related ailments. All dashboard lights work properly and go off once cars starts. The previous 16v's I owned, I bought it just cause I had to, but did nothing for me as far as driving /owning pleasure. This one is beautiful and now I know what a 16v really is and what it was all about. its hard to explain in words. I am very critical about my cars as you can see from my feedback and I try to describe things honestly, if it doesnt sell, it doesnt sell. The front spring top perches need to be replaced with thinner units so that the front sits lower. They are currently a 2" thick stock piece. I might do this before pickup.
I took the car in for NJ state inspection today and it passed for both emissions and safety, so the inspection is good upto March 2010. Car always runs on 91 or 93 octane gas.

Also, if anyone wants to sell a set of 15,16,17" Penta / BBS / Ronal / Monobloc with/without tires that fits the W201 190E, please email me, id very interested in buying.
