This is a relisting. The reserve of $3,840 was not reached in the last auction. This is a rare opportunity to purchase an outstandingly beautiful car. Only 202K mileage..Near mint condition on the inside; very good condition on the outside. Just look at the photos. This is THE classic Benz...and this year is the last of this model with all its improvements. This car has a clear NJ Title and recently passed inspection. There are no known accidents. We understand it was never smoked in. The paint is very good for its age; absolutely no rust can be seen. The chrome shines and the moldings fit snug and tight. The headliner is near perfect and the seats are firm and fine. Gets 30mpg and prime candidate for bio-fuel conversion. The car runs straight and true. No shimmies; no shakes. Starts right up. The brakes work fine as do the radio, AC, windows. Two negatives: the vacuum system for the lock buttons is faulty and needs repair and the windshield is slightly scratched from a windshield wiper which should have been replaced earlier. I am told these are not major problems. The vacuum system is not an expensive repair and the windshield can be buffed. It did not cause a problem passing inspection. Extremely reliable and classy transportation. My wife and I are always getting compliments for the car. We collect and sometimes sell 300ds. This is one of our better ones. Bid with confidence. Payment of the balance must be made within seven days of the auction's end. If these conditions are not met, the car will be re-listed. We will keep the car for you for three weeks after the auction's end. After that, it will be considered abandoned by you and may be offered for resale.
