This is a nice 240-D that I recently picked up. It has a good body and a very smooth and strong motor. The odometer shows 120,000 but it has more miles than that - the odometer is not working. I am selling because we also bought another, newer 240-D and I sometimes get a little carried away buying these. upon purchasing this car 3 months ago, I immediately had the clutch slave cylinder and the master cylinder replaced as well as changing the fuel filters and needed to have a bunch of wiring fixed up and bulbs replaced to pass inspection which it did. I also had the oil and filter changed and gave it an all around lube job. I love the way this car rides - smooth as silk really holds the road and has amazing power. The previous owner told me the engine was recently rebuilt. It has a manual sunroof and it works fine. The bad part about this car is that the frame has pretty severe rust issues - not the body panels or anything up top, but down below. The sunroof needs a new seal and the passenger door needs a new seal - I found out the both leak water when in a car wash. the interior is amazingly good. The seats are clean and tear free, but there is a musty smell in the car. If i were keeping it I would try a lot of baking soda etc. and keep vacuuming it out. But that frame rust issue worries me and I dont want to et into a major project of trying to reinforce the frame at this time and that's the other reason we're selling. The previous owner did not mention this to me (I bought on e-bay) and I'm kind of mad about that, but maybe he simply didn't know. I thought about keeping it for parts - like the body panels and the motor - everything is good so it's probably an awesome parts car - and that's probably what I'll do if I can't get a decent price. The tires have good tread left in them. It's missing an antenna, radio doesn't work, it will need a new battery - I need to jump it everytime I drive it now, but then she's good to go for as long as I need. The exterior color is a classy powder blue in case it looks white to you. She's easy to love.
