100% Original Tucson, ArizonaCougar
I bought this car from the second owner; the woman had owned this Cougar fornearly 20 years. This vehicle has only 119,000 original miles. This Cougar isessentially all original with the exception of a professionally installedaftermarket stereo. The original radio, bezel, mounts, tuning knobs, andeverything needed to reinstall were saved and will come with the vehicle. I wastold that the radio worked when it was removed. A shop repair manual andoriginal owner’s manual will be included with the sale.
Engine
The engine is the original, numbers-matching 289 2 barrel that is 100%stock. I’ve replaced the starter, voltage regulator, starter relay,alternator, fuel pump, accelerator pump diaphragm and had a new windshield putin. This Cougar starts up immediately with a turn of the key and runs/drivesexcellent. It passed AZ emissions with no problem. The power steering worksand is very nice to have. Its a original AC car, but it is unknown if it works or not. This car mostly sits in the garage and is drivenapproximately once a month, but this Cougar could be driven daily.

Body
This Cougar was bought new in Tucson, AZ and has been here in Southern Arizonait’s whole life. The originalpaint still shines and looks great from a distance. As pictures show the drivers side quarter panel and rear valence have some lightdents (could easily be popped out). The car has some other minor dings, butnothing that wouldn’t be an easy fix. This Cougar is a perfect example of anoriginal Arizonasurvivor car. It won’t require any sheet metal replacement, the bodypanels, trunk and floors are dry without any rot. There is a light amount ofexterior surface rust on the very bottoms of the fenders and quarter panels.
Interior
The original interior is in great condition for a 41 year old car.The back seat has a tear on the seat bottom and on the top part of the seat.The front seats have had covers on them since before the second owner boughtit, so the front seats have been saved from the hot Arizona sun. The original front and reardoor panels are in excellent condition and look like new. The original carpetand floor mats look good, but show some minor wear.
Lights and electrical
The interior lights, radio, and luminescent instrument panel work great. Thesequential turn signals work, the headlight doors open and close.
