Up for auction is a comet caliente, 1964 302 4 speed, what your gonna see is a honest look at the good and bad parts of the comet, for the most part this is a good car, the engine was gone thru, daul quads were added, 8 quart oil pan, and machined valvecovers, it has a 488 lift cam, and unlite ign, oil pressure is between 60-70 lbs and temp runs about 160, the clutch and flywheel were checked, and looked new, exhaust has been done to the rear tires , they dump out before rear axle, the rear end has a locker in it and probably 350 gears, also traction bars, ive noticed that the rear leaf springs are kinda short, i took pictures of the floor pans and trunk and some of the rust problems with the car, the bodywork was done about 20 years ago, and needs some attention, bumpers are straight but need rechromed, interior is orginal, and needs rechromeing, head liner needs repaired, the automatic steering column is still in the car, the body over all is in good shape, and runs good and strong, rides like a log wagon tho, rear end is real stiff, front susp, is good tires are new and cragers are in real good shape, i also have a u shaped crack in windshield in the upper right hand cornor, if ive painted a bad picture of the car, its just that i like being honest,you can always call me 601 749 8179 Dennis for more infomation,
