Vehicle Description

Up for sale is my 1978 MG Midget. I have only had the car for 1.5 months, I bought the car from a guy in need of money, who was unable to get the car running. The car had over heated and blew the head gasket, and the previous owner changed the head gasket and at that time installed the new weber carb kit. The reason it wouldn't run was because he didn't adjust the valves properly. after i adjusted the valves, i tuned the carb and the car ran great, untill it got warm and ran for a bit, the factory electronic ignition system was failing when warmed. To repair this problem i installed a pertronix electronic ignition system. The car now runs verry well.
I have my doughts about the speedo being acurate because while driving down the highway with the speedo @ 60 mph in a 60 mph zone, I am passing everyone in sight.
This car has some of the typical midget cancer starting in rear wheel wells and lower body areas, none of which seems to be verry bad, but should be taken care of before it does get bad.
Two spots of damage include the left front corner from a minor fender bender. The other one is a small hole on the top of the dash pad where I accidentally hit it with the zipper of the tanneau cover.
The interior of the car is very nice!!! It has all been replaced. It has the nice MG crested floormats in it. It also has a new convertible top and a verry nice tonneau cover and a verry nice boot cover.
The engine also has the typical Midget oil leaks.
I am a Professional Auto Technician (mechanic) by trade, and if the buyer would like, we can work something out to have me pull the engine and do anything from resealing to full overhaul of the engine.
I have tryed to take good pictures of the car, but if there is anything not pictured that you would like to see, just let me know. Feel free to e-mail any questions OR call me (Scott) @ 417-225-8447.
