I had good intentions when I first got the car of fixing it up as a daily driver but, it has sat in my garage for a little over 1 year with no attention. I drove the car home a year ago (approximately 100 miles) and taught my son to drive a manual transmission with it in the beginning of 2007. It has not been started since. I believe it will run with a little cleaning up but, the battery is completely flat and I haven't had time to work on it. The car is being sold in as is condition. I would not suggest trying to drive it home. The buyer will need to arrange for transportation or shipping of the car. As you can see in the pictures, the sills are badly rusted and were repaired at one time with fiberglass puddy. On the drivers side, the repair job on the sills was broken off (see pictures). The repair is still intact on the passenger side. The car is mostly original. It comes with the original jack, owners manual, am/fm radio operating instructions and some other paper work. The speedometer is not working so the mileage is unknown (I have confirmed that the gauge works and that the problem is the cable - the car comes with a new one). I purchased several parts (all new) for the car back when I first got it. They are valued at over $600 and they all come with the car (most are pictured) and are listed below: * new top (already installed) * rubber rear axle straps (already installed) * complete brake overhaul kit including new shoes, springs, lines, bushings, etc. * speedometer cable * fan belt * complete cut to fit carpet set with shifter boot * shop manual * engine gasket set * water pump Please do not bid if you are not serious about buying and transporting the car! The winning bidder is required to leave a $200 deposit on paypal and deliver the remaining amount as cash or cashiers check when picking up the car. Pickup must be made within 2 weeks of purchase. I was sent a question asking if the engine turned over. Yes, with a jump from another car it does turn over. The battery is so dead though, I could not get it to start and did not want to drain the other cars battery continuing to try.
