Here for auction is a super solid 1971 MG midget. This car runs and drives and aside from needing the carb cleaned it runs and drives very well. We have had this car for a little over a year and it almost like a running joke around the shop because this is the only car we have that will start up everytime you climb in it no matter how long it has been sitting. The carb is a little lean and it runs better choked a little but the motor and trans are super solid and it runs great it shifts well and it stops good. This car has been a California car its whole life and apears to be rust free the floors are solid and there is no rust showing through anywhere it still has its original blue and yellow plates. The car is all original paint and all and its extremly straight. The car comes with the hard top and there are no convertible top bows so its hard top only. The interior is very clean it just needs some new carpet. This is the perfect car to start with for a restoration or you could just clean it up and drive as-is. Early small bumper Midgets are getting nearly impossible to find especially this original an solid so dont miss your chance to bid this one is No reserve so the high bidder will be going home with it.PLEASE READ: If you are new to Ebay and or have less than 5 positive feedback's from prior transactions, please contact me BEFORE bidding. If you do not, your bid will be canceled. This is a serious auction for serious buyers. Please remember your bid is a contract to purchase, not an opportunity to come look and or negotiate. If you have questions or concerns, ask before bidding. If you are not comfortable with this, DO NOT BID. PLEASE CONTACT US AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AFTER THE CLOSE OF THE AUCTION!!!! :) Winning bidder pays $500 non-refundable deposit within 2 business days after the close of the auction and the remainder is due within 7 days.
